Give the tablet a clear role

TickerCanvas can turn a tablet beside your computer into a focused view of the same market snapshot. Open the website or an available native beta, choose S&P 500 or Nasdaq-100, and decide whether you want the full index or a smaller watchlist. The tablet is an additional client of the shared cache, not a separate quote collector.

On iPad, the website can be added to the Home Screen from Safari. The native iPadOS project and its signing or device-test status are separate from the web experience. Android development APKs are also labeled separately from a Google Play release. Always use the availability stated on the download page.

Use display mode for the canvas

Enter display mode to remove the usual navigation and give the map more space. Choose a layout before entering if you want a specific sector grouping, tile size or color palette. Portrait is useful for a compact overview; landscape can make company names and larger watchlists easier to read.

On supported Android builds, display mode requests an immersive view of the system bars. Safe areas still protect controls from the camera cutout, status information and navigation gestures. System bars can reappear when you swipe from an edge. On other devices, the operating system or browser retains control of its own chrome.

Use keep-awake deliberately

Keep awake asks the supported device or browser to avoid sleeping while the canvas is in use. It is optional, and the interface reports when the request is unavailable. Device power-saving settings, switching apps or browser restrictions can still affect behavior. Turn it off when you no longer need the extra display.

Exit display and Reset filters stay available as controls. If you focused a single company, resetting returns all companies in the selected index without replacing the theme. You can also save the view to make the next session quicker to set up.

Know what this does not replace

A tablet canvas is a foreground app or web experience. It does not replace the iPadOS or Android home-screen wallpaper. It also does not provide order entry, broker connectivity or a live price guarantee. Check the session date and coverage on the canvas; adding the tablet does not make the shared end-of-day feed update more frequently.
